A large fire damages a plant in Mehran Town, Karachi.

The fire that started at a factory next to the Driving License Branch in Mehran Town, Karachi’s Korangi Industrial Area, has been contained.

The factory building was completely destroyed by the fire.

Eight fire tenders and two water bowzers were used in the firefighting operation, according to fire brigade authorities. The fire caused significant damage to the factory building. Luckily, no employees were around when the situation occurred.

Large amounts of fiber were present in the plant, according to the authorities, and the flames destroyed everything. An inquiry has been started, however the precise origin of the fire is still unknown.
