A shipment of supplies from Pakistan to Gaza lands in Egypt

Under Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s orders, Pakistan’s National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and the Al-Khidmat Foundation sent another shipment through Egypt on Tuesday for the benevolent people of the Gaza Strip as part of the most recent round of humanitarian and relief supplies.

On Tuesday, a special chartered plane from Pakistan that was carrying 100 tons of relief and humanitarian goods touched down at El-Arish International Airport in Egypt. The humanitarian shipment was given to the Egyptian Red Crescent Society so that it may be sent to the Gaza inhabitants.

Both the Egyptian government, led by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and the Egyptian Red Crescent Society are greatly appreciated by the Pakistani government and people for enabling the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Palestinian brothers and sisters.

The flight delivering 2427 tons today is one of 25 humanitarian consignments that have been sent to Gaza. Over the next few weeks, more assistance and humanitarian supplies will be sent to the fraternal people of Gaza.
