According to CM Maryam Nawaz, Chinese businessmen are very interested in making investments in Punjab.

A group of well-known Chinese businesspeople met with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, and they showed a great desire to invest in Punjab’s diverse industries.

The Chief Minister welcomed the delegation and expressed her happiness to see that there were women among the Chinese investors. Before her next trip to Brazil, she called the meeting important and said Punjab had a lot of potential for investment.

In order to fully assist and encourage investors, Maryam Nawaz emphasized that Punjab has implemented the Zero Time to Start policy for the first time. According to her, Punjab is currently experiencing one of its most favorable times for investment prospects.

According to the Chief Minister, the parks and industrial zones in the province offer the ideal setting for investment. She went on to say that in order to draw in more investors, the government would provide import duty reductions and tax breaks.

Speaking about important industries, she stated that medical tourism, IT, and infrastructure are all ready for international investment. She mentioned that Punjab has been introducing innovation to the medical and other fields since her trip to China last year.

Using the RUDA project as an example, Maryam Nawaz claimed that Punjabi real estate and infrastructure projects could quickly transform investment into profit. In just ten months, the government has constructed over 100,000 homes, setting a new record, she said.

According to her, the province is in need of more high-quality hotels as a result of increased tourism. “We are launching a glass train and a high-speed train in Punjab for the first time,” she continued.

Additionally, a sizable portion of land has been set aside for the construction of the largest medical district in the province.

“Apply now and start tomorrow; Punjab is now a paperless, online business province,” she said.

Senior representatives from a number of Chinese businesses introduced themselves and indicated interest in investing in Punjab’s various sectors during the discussion.
