After 11 non-bailable warrants, Aleema Khan finally shows up before the ATC in Rawalpindi.

Eleven non-bailable arrest warrants were issued against Aleema Khan, the sister of imprisoned PTI founder Imran Khan. Aleema Khan appeared before the court.

She showed up in relation to a case that was filed about the protest on November 26. Special Prosecutor Zaheer Shah and her attorney Faisal Malik also showed up with their teams. All five witnesses were in court, along with ten other accused people.

The hearing was conducted by Judge Amjad Ali Shah of the Rawalpindi Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC). Aleema Khan contested the inclusion of Section 7 ATA (Anti-Terrorism Act) in the case, declaring it illegal.

She asked for her frozen financial accounts to be restored and all arrest orders against her to be revoked. Her request for a hearing on the repeal of Section 7 ATA was granted by the court, and on November 26 it sent a notice to the state attorney inviting arguments.

The court also paused the process of taking her property by the state.

The hearing was intense and went on for over an hour. The state prosecutor was adamantly against the warrants being revoked and bank accounts being restored. Nevertheless, the court summoned all five witnesses for the next hearing, cancelled all pending warrants, and directed Aleema Khan to make sure she attended.

Aleema Khan is accused of instigating workers to engage in violent protest, burning, and interfering with government activities during the November 26 demonstration, according to a case filed at the Sadiqabad Police Station.
