After an 11-year-old girl was sold into marriage in DG Khan, an 80-year-old man was detained.

reported on Sunday that an 11-year-old girl was allegedly sold and married to an 80-year-old man in the Dera Ghazi Khan tribal district of Phagla.
Ameer Taimur Khan, Chief Commandant of the Border Military Police, took notice of the situation.
An 80-year-old man purchased the daughter, according to Ameer Taimur Khan.
The girl was allegedly sold for Rs 1.5 million by her father.
All of the defendants, including the marriage registrar, are being prosecuted for marrying a juvenile girl.
While the remaining suspects are still being sought, the 80-year-old groom was taken into custody.
