After heavy fog in some areas of Punjab, vehicles are not allowed to utilize the motorways.

Many regions of Punjab saw thick fog and foggy weather, which made it extremely difficult for drivers to see, prompting the police to close roads in a number of places.

Motorway M2 from Lahore to Kot Momin, Motorway M3 from Lahore to Samundri, Sialkot Motorway M11, and Motorway M4 from Pindi Bhattian to Faisalabad were all closed due to fog.

The Motorway Police say that 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. is the safest period to drive in fog. On the national route, fog is also present in Sundar, Manga Mandi, Phool Nagar, and Pattoki. On the national highway, visibility varies from 0 to 100 meters.

A number of flights to and from the province capital, Lahore, have been delayed as a result of the severe fog.

Syed Imran Ahmad, a spokesman for the NHMP Central Region, previously emphasized that the purpose of these closures is to protect people and property. He emphasized that lane infractions in fog can result in serious collisions and advised drivers to properly follow lane discipline.
