An explosion at the Peshawar CTD police station resulted in one fatality and two injuries among officers.

An official was killed and two others were injured in an explosion at the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) police station caused by a short circuit on Sunday.
Police report that a section of the building was damaged as a result of the explosion.
Dr. Saeed, the Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) of Peshawar, indicated that the explosion resulted from a short circuit in the explosives housed at the station. He dismissed allegations of an attack.
During the event, three CTD personnel were in the building—one was killed, and two sustained injuries, he stated.
The CCPO stated that four detainees in custody were transferred from the station.
The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations announced that the CTD station and adjacent areas have been cordoned off, with police personnel assigned to the location.
