Announcement of KP educational institutions’ winter break

The winter break schedule for summer zone and winter zone educational institutions in the province has been released by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government.

The province’s summer zone educational institutions will be closed from January 1 to January 15, while winter zone educational institutions will be closed from December 22 to February 28, according to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Secretary of Education.

The purpose of the winter holidays is to protect staff, instructors, and students from the severe winter weather that is frequently seen in mountainous areas.

It is important to note that winter vacations in Punjab will start on December 23, 2025, and go through January 11, 2026. On January 12, Punjab’s public and private schools will resume.

In the same way, Sindh will celebrate winter vacations from December 22 to December 31. All public and private educational institutions will resume regular operations on January 1.
