“Any attempt by Indians to divert water will be deemed an act of war.”

Syed Muhammad Mehar Ali Shah, the Pakistani Commissioner for Indus Waters, stated on Thursday that it would be deemed an act of war if India were to reroute the water flow.

Syed Muhammad Mehar Ali Shah stated on the Dunya News program “Dunya Meher Bokhari Kay Sath” that satellites are keeping an eye on the issue and that India is consistently breaking the Indus Waters Treaty.

He added that India has not disclosed all of the information about its Chenab River project, even though the agreement calls for India to do so.
