Any backdoor agreement with Imran Khan is ruled out by Rana Sanaullah.

Senator Rana Sanaullah, the PM’s adviser on political and public affairs, stated on Saturday that Pakistan’s high-level, aggressive diplomacy was crucial in easing tensions between the US and Iran.
Speaking to the media following his speech at a medical college’s convocation, he claimed that Pakistan’s military and political leadership had shown remarkable statesmanship and foresight in averting a potentially catastrophic catastrophe.
Speaking about social media trends, he denounced some groups for disseminating falsehoods motivated by animosity and bad politics that harm Pakistan’s reputation.
However, he continued, the country had always rejected such tales and united strongly behind its military and political leadership, especially during “Marka-e-Haq,” when strong public unity overcame deceptive propaganda.
In response to a query, he clearly denied any backdoor agreement with Imran Khan and stated that all issues pertaining to the PTI founder were in court and would be resolved entirely in compliance with the law and the Constitution.
He continued, “Any legal relief must be sought through judicial forums, and decisions would be based solely on merit.”
He reaffirmed that accountability, transparency, and merit continued to be the government’s guiding principles, guaranteeing the appropriate and efficient use of public resources.
He claimed that Pakistan’s earnest diplomatic efforts were widely recognised by the international community and that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar continued to maintain constant communication with world leaders.
He claimed that the US-Iran truce was a significant diplomatic achievement that prevented widespread devastation and instability in the area.
Rana Sanaullah stated that the world was praising Pakistani leadership for its foresight and caution, not just President Donald Trump but also other powerful nations like Iran and Saudi Arabia.
He emphasised the value of diplomacy, stating that Pakistan had effectively projected this position on the international scene and that recent events demonstrated that engagement and negotiations remained the only viable course of action.
