Ayaz Sadiq and Fazlur Rehman talk about legislative issues and the regional condition.

Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq met with Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), on Tuesday. They talked about issues of mutual concern and the current state of the region.

The necessity of strengthening the legislative process and improving Parliament’s effective function was emphasized by both leaders. They also talked about fostering political peace, democratic stability, and national unity.

Ayaz Sadiq emphasized that in order to solve the nation’s problems, political leadership collaboration and consultation were crucial. He went on to say that it was in the best interests of the country for political parties to better coordinate.

The Speaker emphasized the necessity for all parliamentary parties to actively participate in addressing national challenges and promoting unity, as well as the significance of adopting a cohesive approach in the national interest.

He added that Pakistan was actively contributing to the changing Middle East.

The head of the JUI-F recognized the significance of Parliament in the current regional circumstances and valued Sardar Ayaz Sadiq’s role as the House’s guardian.

He said that in order to address persistent issues, Parliament’s role was crucial.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman also acknowledged Pakistan’s contribution to the Israel-Iran conflict and emphasized the importance of consulting parliament while making critical choices given the shifting regional circumstances.
