Azma demands a thorough security strategy for Muharram.

Punjab’s Minister of Culture and Information To ensure the peaceful observance of religious ceremonies during Muharram, Azma Bukhari has instructed the relevant administrations to implement a comprehensive security, traffic management, and public facilitation strategy.

On Saturday, she presided over a high-level conference in Faisalabad to discuss plans for Muharram-ul-Haram.

The security protocols, law and order arrangements, traffic management strategies, and public service projects being finalised for Muharram processions and religious events were all thoroughly reviewed during the conference.

Speaking to the audience, Azma Bukhari instructed all pertinent departments to make sure that every majlis and procession path has impenetrable security measures.

She advised the administrative and law enforcement authorities to collaborate closely in order to uphold public safety and tranquillity, saying that no effort should be wasted to avert any undesirable incident.

According to her, the protection of mourners and participants in Muharram celebrations is of utmost concern to the Punjab administration. She emphasised that the administration was dedicated to creating a safe space for religious celebrations.

The minister emphasised that prompt response to any new scenario would depend on efficient communication between all institutions.
