CM Afridi promises not to tolerate “closed-door” choices as the PTI’s lengthy march arrives in Kohat.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) long march, led by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, has reached Kohat as the participants prepare to head to Peshawar on Tuesday.
Speaking to the participants, Afridi said that decisions made in secret meetings would not be acceptable, and he mentioned that the party would announce its future course of action in Swabi.
He emphasized that the demands of the protesters were both reasonable and in line with the constitution.
Afridi also asserted that he could not be influenced by wealth, reaffirming his stance on the current political scenario.
The chief minister also mentioned that the T20 match would be held on October 8.
The march is moving towards Peshawar, with participants expected to leave from Kohat as part of the ongoing political movement.
The PTI’s long march started on Sunday, with a large group of workers and supporters departing from Dera Ismail Khan, led by former KP chief minister Ali Amin Gandapur.
The caravan was part of the party’s ongoing campaign to secure the release of Imran Khan.
Before leaving Dera Ismail Khan, Gandapur urged the participants to keep the protest peaceful, remain disciplined, and avoid any acts of violence, vandalism, or conflict with law enforcement.
He stated that the party would adopt a “live and let live” approach during the march and instructed workers not to take matters into their own hands.
