CM Maryam Nawaz’s son, Junaid Safdar, is getting ready to remarry.

The wedding festivities of Junaid Safdar, offspring of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, begun today, garnering significant attention from political and entertainment spheres, as well as social media users across the nation.
Junaid Safdar is poised to wed Shanze Ali Rohail, the granddaughter of prominent Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) figure and former National Assembly member Sheikh Rohail Asghar. The celebrations are set to occur from January 16 to 18, 2026, at Jati Umra, encompassing traditional rituals such as the Mehndi, Barat, and Walima rites.
The inaugural event, the Mehndi, is scheduled for tonight in Jati Umra, with attendance from the Sharif family, the Rohail Asghar family, and close relatives. Renowned dancer Wahab Shah has been invited to perform at the event. Approximately 350 guests have been invited, and traditional Pakistani cuisine is being prepared to offer an opulent dining experience.
The wedding invitation card, which has gained significant attention on social media, indicates that the Walima will take place on January 18, 2026, Sunday, at 1:00 PM in Jati Umra Sharif Farms.
This signifies Junaid Safdar’s second matrimony. His prior marriage to the daughter of prominent businessman Saif-ur-Rehman culminated in divorce in 2023.
