Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif chaired a special review meeting that took place in Lahore. Nadia Saqib, the Provincial Secretary for Health and Population, provided a thorough update on current health efforts around the province during the meeting.

The briefing emphasized that 1.2 million children have received vaccinations, 7 million ultrasound services, and 18.2 million adults have received treatment under the Clinic on Wheels initiative thus far.

Additionally, officials said that 13,864 patients with tuberculosis and 14,286 patients with hepatitis received medication delivered to their homes for two months. 1,026 Basic Health Units and 191 Rural Health Centers were renovated under Phase One, and 433 BHUs and 81 RHCs were completed under Phase Two.

Phase Three, which focuses on building and renovating 895 health centers, is presently in progress, the gathering was informed. In Punjab, Community Health Inspectors have enrolled 63 million individuals and gathered information from 10 million dwellings and 8 million households.

GIS teams also finished mapping 58,571 locations around the province.
