CM Sindh gives the go-ahead for a water treatment plant on 22 acres of land in Hyderabad.

The Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah, has given the go-ahead for the building of a 6 MGD Rapid Gravity Water Treatment Plant in Hyderabad on more than 22 acres of government land. This is to meet the growing need for water.
He made this choice while leading a meeting at the CM House that included Minister for Planning and Development and Irrigation Jam Khan Shoro, Chief Secretary Asif Hyder Shah, Chairman P&D Najam Shah, Secretary Finance Fayaz Jatoi, PSCM Agha Wasif, and other high-ranking officials.
Murad Ali Shah said that the water system needs to be better and that the Sindh government’s top priority is to give people clean drinking water.
Murad Ali Shah said that the water supply in Hyderabad, Qasimabad, and the villages around them should be better, and all legal and administrative tasks should be done fast.
He also added that the water treatment plant project will be closely watched and that it is a vital step for the health of the people and the growth of Hyderabad.
