Early trading at PSX showed an upward trend.

At the opening of trade on Tuesday, the Pakistan Stock Exchange showed a favorable trend.

With the benchmark KSE-100 index rising more than 1,000 points to 171,571 at the start of trading, the market saw gains.

The KSE-100 index closed at 170,506 earlier on Monday after losing 609 points.

Asian stock markets, however, continued to show a mixed trend.

A foreign news agency reports that Thailand’s SET Index increased by 0.40 percent while Japan’s Nikkei 225 increased by about 1 percent. The Hang Seng Index in Hong Kong also saw minor increases.

However, China’s Shanghai Composite Index dropped by 0.40 percent, Indonesia’s Jakarta Composite Index dropped by 1 percent, and South Korea’s KOSPI sank by 1.72 percent.
