ECP announces transfer, postings of many officials

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Friday notified transfers and postings of numerous officers including senior officers.

The announcement said four ECP officers had been upgraded from Grade 19 to Grade 20. The promoted officers are Faisal Hakeem and Abdullah, Khurshid Alam and Nazar Abbas.

After the promotions, Faisal Hakeem has been appointed Additional Director General (Elections-II) and Abdullah has been appointed Joint Provincial Election Commissioner (Balochistan).

Nazar Abbas meanwhile has been appointed Additional Director General (Electoral Rolls).

ECP official says Waseem Jafri transferred Jafri has been transferred from his position as Joint Provincial Election Commissioner (Balochistan) to Sindh.

“Separate orders for transfer and postings of several officers at district level across the country have also been issued by the Election Commission.

The new administrative reshuffle is a part of the continuous restructuring and postings of officers at different levels by ECP.
