The votes of members of the National Assembly and the Senate are counted separately in this election.

To ensure that every province has an equal representation in the election, the votes cast by the provincial assembly lawmakers are modified. As a result, each provincial assembly has 65 votes, which is equal to the minimum number of members in the Balochistan Assembly.

The set number of 65 will determine the weighting of all the members of the other provincial legislatures.
