Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the leader of Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), is in favor of establishing new provinces in the nation.

Fazlur Rehman told the media that there is no reason to reject the new provinces if they are established for administrative reasons. In the public interest, he continued, province governments ought to set up a local government structure.
