Field Marshal Asim Munir states that Pakistan is ready to lift off.

According to Field Marshal Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), everything is going well.
His comments were made soon after he was named the first Chief of Defence Forces (or CDF) of Pakistan.
“Everything is in front of you, and everything is wonderful. Speaking casually to reporters at Aiwan-e-Sadar, the COAS stated, “Pakistan will now take off for a higher flight, and things are moving in a positive direction.”
An important milestone in Pakistan’s military hierarchy was reached earlier in the day when the government named Field Marshal Asim Munir as the nation’s first Chief of Defence Forces (CDF).
Field Marshal Munir will also hold the position of Chief of Army Staff, according to the appointment, which was authorised by President Asif Ali Zardari after Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif presented a summary.
Pakistan’s first Chief of Defence Forces was appointed by Field Marshal Asim Munir.
The 27th Constitutional Amendment, which created the role to improve military coordination, was followed by the establishment of the CDF post.
Field Marshal Munir has now officially taken on this newly constituted job with parliamentary approval.
Gen. Asim Munir will serve as Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, according to the announcement.
The CDF’s five-year term will begin as soon as the notification is issued.
