Five officers are hurt in a blast near a police van in Lakki Marwat.

Five police officers, including an Assistant Sub-Inspector, were hurt in an explosion near a police van at Shahbaz Khel Adda in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Lakki Marwat region.

Police claim that a motorcycle parked near the police wagon had the explosive substance.

A sizable police force quickly arrived at the location, cordoned off the area, and started gathering evidence after learning about the incident.

ASI Jamaluddin, Constable Arif, and driver Mir Hassan are among the injured.

The injured individuals were taken right away to a local hospital for care.

According to police officials, an investigation into the incident is still ongoing, and efforts are being made to identify the perpetrators.
