Following a drone strike, the Fujairah oil zone caught fire, and the UAE claims to have intercepted Iranian missiles.

Authorities in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates, reported on Monday that a drone assault from Iran was the cause of the fire that started at the Fujairah Oil Industry Zone.
According to a statement from the Fujairah Media Office, civil defense troops were sent out right away to put out the fire.
In a post on X, the UAE’s defense ministry stated, “The UAE has intercepted three missiles fired from Iran over its territorial waters, with a fourth missile crashing into the sea.”
The statement further stated that, “The Ministry of Defence affirmed that the sounds heard in different parts of the country are a result of air defence systems engaging threats.”When warning warnings are sent to the public, the ministry advised them to follow all public safety protocols and seek information from official sources.
Iran did not immediately respond. Iran had no intention of attacking the UAE, according to Iranian state television, which cited a senior military officer.
