FPSC implements a single paper per day arrangement for the CSS Examination in 2026.

Beginning in 2026, the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has announced a significant modification to the way mandatory papers for the CSS Competitive Examination would be administered.

In contrast to the former practice of holding two examinations in a single day, the commission has chosen to hold only one mandatory paper every day.

The change was made to give candidates more time to study and to guarantee that exams run smoothly at every location. Exams will no longer be given back-to-back on the same day, making the experience less stressful and improving performance prospects.

According to FPSC, the comprehensive schedule for the 2026 test will be released soon. To stay informed, candidates are encouraged to frequently check the official FPSC website.
