Hajj 2024: During their spiritual journey, 2160 pilgrims from Pakistan arrive in Saudi Arabia.

Pakistan’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Ahmad Farooq, Director General of the Hajj Abdul Wahab Soomro, Consul General Khalid Mehmood, Director of the Hajj in Madinah Zia-ur-Rehman, Director of Facilitation and Coordination Ahmed Nadeem Khan, Director Moavineen Asghar Yusufza, and Director of the Hajj Medical Mission, Brigadier Jamil Lakhiar, all extended a warm welcome to the pilgrims.

The Hajj season began when the pilgrims, who had been waiting years for this moment, entered the city of the Prophet (SAW) full of enthusiasm and devotion. In order to complete the holy Hajj, around three million pilgrims from all over the world—179,210 of whom are from Pakistan—will gather in the holy cities.

The passengers were driven by elegant busses from the airport to residential complexes in Markazia, which are only a 15–20 minute walk from Masjid e Nabvi and Roza-e-Rasool (SAW).

The pilgrims will tour sacred locations and get ready for their upcoming journey during their stay in Madinah over the next four days.

Following that, they will journey to Makkah, where they will carry out other required Hajj rituals, beginning on the eighth day of Zilhajj, including as walking around the Ka’aba and symbolically stoning the devil.

All flights will run from different places in Pakistan to Madinah till May 23 during the first 15 days of the current pre-Hajj flight operation. After that, they will land at King Abdulaziz International Airport, Jeddah, until the pre-Hajj flight operation is over.
