Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the chief minister of Punjab, has emphasized that providing first aid in a timely manner is crucial to preserving lives during emergencies and accidents.

The chief minister honored Rescue 1122 members and hospital emergency personnel in her message on World First Aid Day, stating that prompt first aid is essential for saving lives and is necessary in emergency circumstances and accidents.

According to Maryam Nawaz, increasing public knowledge of first aid is essential for a society that is safe and healthy. According to her, the Punjab government has a policy of using every resource at its disposal to save lives in times of emergency.

The chief minister claims that while the provincial administration is making every effort to enhance emergency medical services, Punjab is the only province to introduce an air ambulance service to guaranty patient care during prime time.

According to Maryam Nawaz, clinics on wheels, field hospitals, and clinics on boats have been used to deliver first aid and rescue services in flood-affected communities.

She stated that members of Rescue 1122 were working nonstop to help people and give accident victims emergency medical attention.
