During a targeted intelligence-based operation on Sunday night in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Tank district, four terrorists were slain by security personnel.

The dead were directly involved in committing acts of terror in the area, according to a statement released by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) early on Monday morning.

In the Tank district of Dera Ismail Khan division of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the security forces successfully located the terrorists’ hideouts after acting quickly on a tip. A large amount of weapons and ammunition that belonged to the terrorists who were killed were taken during the operation.

Targeted killings and sabotage were among the many terrorist actions that the terrorists slain in the operation were allegedly involved in, according to ISPR.

Locals expressed gratitude to the security services for acting quickly and decisively to neutralize the terrorist threat following the operation. ISPR reaffirmed the commitment of the security forces to both guaranteeing everyone’s safety and security and driving out terrorists from the nation.

The military’s press office reported that two terrorists were also slain by security personnel on Sunday during an intelligence-driven operation in Dera Ismail Khan.

The Dera Ismail Khan district saw an IBO by security personnel in response to reports of terrorist activity, according to ISPR. Terrorists Faheem Nawaz Gandapuri and Mohsin Nawaz were killed during the operation, it was stated, following a fierce gunfight between the troops and those who carried out the attack.
