In Sialkot, a grade 8 student is killed when a school construction shed falls.

Maryam Nawaz, the chief minister of Punjab, noticed the situation right away. As she instructed,

During his visit to the school, Provincial Education Minister Sikandar Hayat expressed his sympathies to the family of the deceased.

According to reports, the injured student was not taken to the hospital in time, and rescue personnel were not notified for almost an hour following the fall.

Following the event, the contractor, the principal of the school, and the chief executive officer (education) were taken into custody.

Three engineers have also been mentioned in the FIR, and a case has been filed about the state’s allegation.
