In the past, Nawaz Sharif held 600 meetings each month while in jail: Muhammad Zubair

On Thursday, Mohammad Zubair, a former governor of Sindh and leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), stated that Nawaz Sharif used to have 600 meetings in jail each month, following which we [the party officials] would make political remarks outside the prison.

Former PML-N leader Mohammad Zubair stated ” that Nawaz Sharif had political meetings while incarcerated, although sessions with attorneys were conducted separately. Even their political statements were unrestricted at the time.

Mohammad Zubair went on to ask why they claim that political conversations shouldn’t happen outside of jail and why they are terrified of them. There will inevitably be political conversation after meeting a political leader. They won’t succeed if they believe that this will make the PTI founder less popular.
