Islamabad police head Ali Nasir Rizvi replaced by Sohail Chaudhry

Ali Nasir Rizvi has been removed as Inspector General of Islamabad Police and Sohail Chaudhry has been appointed in his place, sources said.

Sources stated Rizvi is likely to be placed as Director General of the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA). However, no formal announcement on the appointments and transfer has been provided so far.

The move is a change in the leadership of the Islamabad Police with Chaudhry slated to take over as the police head of the federal capital.
