Karachi has declared April 23 to be a public holiday.

In the Karachi division on Tuesday, April 23, all offices, both governmental and private, as well as educational institutions, would be closed.

Sunday saw a notification from the Karachi commissioner.

In light of the arrival of a high-ranking foreign delegation in the province capital on April 23, all public and private institutions, including schools, are scheduled to stay closed.

Tuesday, April 23, 2024, is hereby declared a public holiday in Karachi Division due to the arrival of foreign dignitaries and to prevent any disturbance to the general population.
