Khunjerab Top reopened as a method for people to get from Pakistan to China, even though it was quite cold.

Khunjerab Top, which is 15,397 feet high and is the most significant land route between Pakistan and China, has been cleared and reopened.

Even though the temperature dropped to -20 degrees Celsius, crews from the Frontier Works Organization (FWO) are using snow-clearing machines to keep the Karakoram Highway accessible. Heavy machinery is being employed to quickly clear the roadways of snow so that all forms of vehicles can move freely.

The FWO’s professional knowledge, hard work, and strong national will are all shown by their ability to keep these routes open in such bad weather. Keeping access open on this difficult terrain is not only a big relief for the public, but it is also a clear sign that trade between Pakistan and China is still growing.
