Kuwait congratulates Pakistan on the Joint Defence Agreement in Makkah

Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, had a telephone call with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.

Foreign Minister Jarrah congratulated Deputy Prime Minister Dar on the recent signing of the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement with Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkey. The two also shared opinions on the regional situation including Occupied East Jerusalem.

They exchanged views on Pakistan-Kuwait bilateral ties on issues of mutual importance, including follow up to FM Jarrah’s recent visit to Pakistan and further strengthening cooperation and investment in important sectors.

The two parties agreed to stay in close touch.
