local journalist wounded in Mirpur Mathelo gun incident

It all started when Nasrullah Gadani left his house to go to the Mirpur Mathelo Press Club. Near Deen Shah on Jarwar Road, armed guys in a car started shooting at the journalist before escaping the scene.

Following his transfer to the Mirpur Mathelo DHQ hospital for medical attention, Nasrullah Gadani was shot. He was afterwards transferred to the Medical Sciences Institute of Gambat (GIMS).

Hospital sources reported that the wounded journalist had three gunshot wounds close to his chest and belly. “His situation has been unstable.”

At the National Highway, local media set up a protest and closed the route to vehicles.
