Maryam Nawaz mandates that all Punjabi roads be renovated.

As the meeting’s chair, she gave the relevant authorities the go-ahead to begin the initiative for Punjab’s citizens’ socioeconomic development.

She said, “No road should be left broken in Punjab in six months,” adding that all inter- and intra-district road repairs and rehabilitations have to be finished as soon as possible without sacrificing the caliber of the job.

In order to properly execute axle load control system and guarantee road longevity, the chief minister also gave the go-ahead for the installation of electric weighing machines on roadways.

The chief minister gave the order to finish the ongoing road improvements and requested a report on the state of the bridges in Punjab. She instructed everyone to finish the survey as quickly as possible in order to start building and renovating the road bridge.

Maryam Nawaz has directed the completion of over 153 roads in Punjab to be repaired and refurbished, in addition to building expressways on important linkages like as the Multan-Vehari and Chiniot-Faisalabad highways under public-private partnership mode.

The province’s road situation was thoroughly briefed earlier by the Secretary of Communication and Works. It was informed that 2,00 km of roads had been assessed using a profilometer, and 7,948 km of roads had been inspected using the Road Right App.

Additionally, it was explained that 100 predetermined factors were used to determine the state of the roadways.

In attendance at the meeting were former senator Pervaiz Rashid, member of the Punjab Assembly Azma Bukhari, chief secretary, chairman of P&D, secretary of finance, and other pertinent officials.
