Mohsin Naqvi abolishes the NADRA death certificate charge

During his visit to NADRA headquarters, the minister visited all sectors and directed officials to create National Database Registration Authority offices across the country in the manner of model police stations built in Punjab.

During the meeting, the minister ordered that the charge for death certificates be waived for the convenience of the public. The minister instructed to maintain the complete protection of citizens’ data.

Naqvi complimented the current Chairman of NADRA, Lieutenant General Muhammad Munir Afsar, for his good performance.

The minister planted seedlings on the lawn of the National Database Registration Authority headquarters as part of the plantation programme.

Mr. Muhammad Munir Afsar delivered a briefing on NADRA’s Roadmap 2024-25, which includes modern and phased security architecture, cyber security audits, employee cyber security awareness, and the National Database Registration Authority Strategic Plan.

The chairman briefed the minister on the improvement of the National Database Registration Authority’s technology and infrastructure, as well as the online platforms of registration centres, so that Pakistanis living overseas, as well as local inhabitants, can easily utilise these facilities.
