Naval Headquarters is visited by participants in the eighth Maritime Security Workshop.

Admiral Naveed Ashraf, Chief of the Naval Staff, met with the group and provided important views on changing marine dynamics during the 8th marine Security Workshop (MARSEW) participants’ visit to Naval Headquarters.

Participants received a briefing on new marine prospects and challenges in the naval domain during the tour.

The 11-day program is to emphasise the importance of marine security and the geostrategic relevance of the Indian Ocean region, according to ISPR.

The Naval Chief highlighted the enormous potential of Pakistan’s blue economy while outlining the mounting marine dangers the country faces. Additionally, he emphasised the Pakistan Navy’s powerful and reliable deterrence during the Battle of Haq, or Marka-e-Haq.

Through the Combined Maritime Forces and Regional Maritime Security Protocol, Admiral Naveed Ashraf further emphasised the Navy’s critical role in maintaining peace and security in the region.

He also praised the Pakistan Navy’s efforts to improve coastal communities. The role of MARSEW was praised and described as highly praiseworthy by members of Parliament, officers, media personnel, and professionals.
