Nawaz Sharif pays a condolence visit to the late Irfan Siddiqui’s home.

Nawaz Sharif, the president of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), paid a condolence visit to the family of late party senator Irfan Siddiqui on Wednesday in Islamabad.

Nawaz Sharif visited and offered his condolences to the family of the late Irfan Siddiqui. In addition to praying for the deceased’s ranks to be raised and for his family to have patience and courage, he offered Fateha for the deceased soul.

The Senate paid rich tribute to Senator Irfan Siddiqui’s remarkable achievements as a legislator, journalist, and scholar earlier in the day when it overwhelmingly voted a resolution of condolence over his tragic death.

In his speech to the Senate, House Leader Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar praised the late lawmaker as “a noble teacher, a distinguished journalist, and a man of integrity” and reflected on his four decades of friendship with him.

In a moving speech, Senator Sherry Rehman referred to Irfan Siddiqui as “the conscience and moral compass of this House.” She claimed that the Senate’s grace was characterised by his decency, intelligence, and humility. He wrote with clarity and compassion, and he was a bridge-builder in both politics and philosophy.
