The emergency operation centers of every district, including the provincial control room, have been notified of the problem, and the PDMA control room is monitoring it day and night, according to a spokesman for the organization. The pertinent departments are on standby to handle the incident.

Residential areas must have their water drains made as soon as feasible, per DG PDMA directive.
