Next year, Chairman Kisan Ittehad of Pakistan has threatened to stop growing cotton.

On Thursday, Pakistan Kisan Ittehad Chairman Khalid Hussain declared that farmers will not cultivate cotton the following year because of the exorbitant production expenses.
According to him, Pakistan has produced two billion less bales of cotton this year. Farmers have suffered significant financial losses as a result of cotton prices, he claimed. There is no profit in any crop, he claimed, and our cost of production has gone up by several hundred percent.
The pricing of sugarcane is the main problem for farmers, according to Khalid Hussain Bath, who was speaking at a news conference in Islamabad, the federal capital. He also mentioned that even though the crushing season has officially begun, sugar mills in Sindh have not yet begun crushing.
According to Khalid Hussain, 50–60% of Punjab’s sugar mills have not yet begun crushing. He lamented the lack of accountability for the sugar mill owners.
