On the occasion of Allama Iqbal’s passing, the PM gives him a heartfelt homage.

On behalf of the entire country, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif paid a sincere homage to Allama Muhammad Iqbal, the poet of the East and a scholar of Islam and Pakistan, stating that he was unquestionably a great intellectual leader and a benefactor of the Muslims of the subcontinent.

He stated, “On April 21, Iqbal Day, Allama Iqbal gave a message for self, action, faith, and intellectual freedom.” He continued, “Allama Iqbal’s ideas gave a subdued nation awareness, self-confidence, and a sense of ongoing struggle.”

“Allama Iqbal’s message is of extraordinary importance to us in today’s national and global circumstances,” the prime minister declared. We must construct our individual and collective lives in the context of Allama Iqbal’s intellectual training in order to combat intellectual disorder, extremism, and social intolerance. The objectives of life, according to Allama Iqbal, are love, fraternity, and national awareness.

“A Pakistan founded on the solid pillars of peace, unity, knowledge, character, and justice is our destiny in the context of Allama Iqbal’s principles. He said, “The Government of Pakistan is dedicated to the establishment of a moderate and peaceful society and the total eradication of terrorism, extremism, and sectarianism.”

“Allama Iqbal paid special attention to the training of the younger generation,” stated the prime minister. He referred to young people as the country’s asset and future architects. For the sake of the country’s future, it is essential to equip the next generation with knowledge, skills, character, independence, and patriotism.

“The administration feels that without constructing education on intellectual, moral, and national foundations, the dream of national progress cannot be realized. The required actions are being made under this idea to strengthen the youth’s participation in the growth of the country, empower them, and provide them with contemporary skills, he said.

“Iqbal’s ideas can lead Pakistan’s youth to new heights of development, stability, and dignity,” stated the prime minister. Along with the youth, Allama Iqbal imparted to the entire country a message of optimism and ongoing development that embodies our hopes as a nation.

“On this Iqbal Day, let us commit to incorporating Iqbal’s ideas into our national policy, educational priorities, and collective thinking in order to create a Pakistan that ensures a bright future. “Insha Allah!” he said in closing.
