Pakistan helps Iran-US negotiations as its leadership gains international confidence

Iran and the United States came to Islamabad for negotiations because they trusted Pakistan, according to Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.

Murad Ali Shah told the media that forces that weren’t prepared for discussion were brought to the negotiating table.

He went on to say that Field Marshal Asim Munir and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s efforts made this possible.

He added that the administration confided in the Pakistan Peoples Party about the US-Iran relations.

According to Murad Ali Shah, President Asif Ali Zardari convened a meeting at the presidency and contributed to the country’s unity during trying times.
