Pakistan’s “Green Initiative”: 4600 acres of cultivation

In most of Northern Balochistan, farming has begun on unused and barren land under the Green Pakistan Initiative.
Local farmers were made aware of farming by FC Balochistan North and the Pakistan Army.
Along with fertilizer and seeds, people were given solar tubewells and agricultural equipment.
In these places, 4,600 acres have been put under cultivation.
This region grows a variety of seasonal vegetables, wheat, cotton, and olives. The wheat crop alone brought in over 220 million rupees for the local farmers this year.
Farmers and local elders expressed gratitude to FC and the Pakistan Army, citing the former’s provision of farming infrastructure.

Because of these actions, the rate of development in these areas has accelerated, and people are prospering as a result of finding work.
