Pakistan’s weather prediction calls for heavy showers and hail throughout the whole country.

According to a new forecast released by the Pakistan Meteorological Department, there will be widespread rainfall throughout the country from April 16 to 19, along with high gusts, thunderstorms, and possibly hailstorms in some areas.

Parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Chitral, Dir, Swat, Shangla, Kohistan, Mansehra, and Abbottabad, are predicted to see sporadic rain and windstorms, according to the study. Stormy weather is also predicted to occur in places like Peshawar, Mardan, Swabi, Kohat, and nearby regions.

Heavy rain and hailstorms are predicted on April 17 and 18 in various areas, particularly the upper and central regions.

Between April 16 and 19, Gilgit-Baltistan is predicted to have severe winds, thunderstorms, and snowfall over mountainous regions like Skardu, Hunza, Gilgit, and Astore.

Similar to this, heavy rain, thunderstorms, and sporadic hail are predicted in Azad Jammu and Kashmir’s Muzaffarabad, Neelum Valley, Poonch, Bagh, and Kotli.

Rain and thunderstorms may occur in Quetta, Zhob, Ziarat, Barkhan, Chaman, Khuzdar, and Lasbela in Balochistan on April 17 and 18.

Between April 16 and 18, rain, strong winds, and thunderstorms are predicted in Punjab, which includes Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, and several other districts.

During the projected period, rain and thunderstorms are also expected in parts of Sindh, such as Sukkur, Larkana, Dadu, and Jacobabad.

Strong gusts, hail, and thunderstorms might harm solar panels, trees, electrical poles, and fragile infrastructure, according to the Meteorological Department.
