Parliamentary leaders will be briefed by PM Shehbaz on the changing Gulf scenario.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will give parliamentary leaders an in-camera briefing on the changing circumstances in the Gulf area, according to Minister for Law and Justice Azam Nazeer Tarar on Tuesday.
He informed the Senate that Wednesday’s session would start at 11:30 a.m.
“The Prime Minister’s Adviser on Political and Public Affairs, Rana Sanaullah, has been tasked with engaging all parliamentary leaders to ensure their participation in the briefing,” the minister stated in a Senate speech.
Earlier, Pakistan stands firmly with Iran, according to Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, who also emphasized efforts to get the parties back to the negotiating table and urged that the issue not be misrepresented at home.
Ishaq Dar told the Senate that Pakistan’s initial response to the incident was released on February 28.
He continued by saying that after learning about Ali Khamenei’s martyrdom, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif issued a statement lamenting the terrible event.
He pointed out that Pakistan had also made an effort to ease tensions following the June attack on Iran.
Pakistan attempted to settle the issue through backdoor diplomatic involvement once more after the recent attack on Iran.
Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s strong support for Iran. According to him, the matter was actively and favorably handled by the Prime Minister and Field Marshal Asim Munir.
