PCAA passes the ICAO’s Universal Aviation Security Audit.

The International Aviation Organization’s (ICAO) Universal Aviation Security Audit has been successfully concluded by the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA), marking another significant accomplishment.

Pakistan CAA achieved 86.73 percent of the rating, meeting the targets set by IQ 2030.

According to the CAA, the legislation came before the National Aviation Act of 2023.

On February 11, a 10-day aviation security assessment was carried out. The CAA stated that through ongoing monitoring and audit, audit work aims to raise international aviation security standards.

How are international audits conducted?

An ICAO audit examined cargo facilities, entrance control, security, and screening at airports.
