Pink bus service will launch on new routes in Karachi on April 19.

Right now, the Pink Bus Service runs on R1 via Shahrah-e-Faisal from Model Colony Malir to Tower.

The conference to evaluate plans for the start of new transportation projects in Karachi and Mirpurkhas was led by Sharjeel Memon.

At the conference, it was decided to start Pink Bus Service on two new routes in Karachi on April 19.

A second R10 ticket, for the Peoples Pink Bus Service (exclusively for women), will go from Numaish Chowrangi to the Sea View Clock Tower via M.A. Jinnah Road, Zaibunissa Street, Metropol, Do Talwar, Teen Talwar, Mazar e Abdullah Shah Ghazi, and Dolman Mall.

It was also resolved at the meeting that the People’s Bus Service will begin operation in Mirpurkhas on April 20.

Memon stated that in order to help commuters, a cashless automated fare collecting smart card service will also be introduced on April 25.

The minister had earlier on March 18 announced the opening of the People’s Bus Service in Mirpurkhas following Eidul Fitr, as well as new routes for the Pink Bus Service.

The Sindh government introduced the “first-ever” Pink Peoples Bus Service for women alone in Karachi on February 1.
