PM Kakar permits workers in grades 17 through 22 to do Umrah
ISLAMABAD: According to ARY News, caretaker prime minister (PM) Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar permitted officers ranging in grade from 17 to 22 to perform Umrah on Thursday.
A Cabinet Division announcement states that government personnel in grades 17 through 22 are now eligible to go to Saudi Arabia for the Umrah.
It is important to note that government employees in grades 17 through 22 are not allowed to go overseas.
The caretaker government took proactive measures to prevent federal ministers and government workers from fleeing the nation until after the elections were over and the new government assumed power.
