President Zardari is hosted by Governor Karbala; topics of shared interest are discussed.

Dr. Nsayif Jassim Al-Khatabi, the governor of Karbala, Iraq, sponsored a luncheon on Tuesday in honour of President Asif Ali Zardari. The topics of conversation included topics of shared interest, such as tourism, cultural exchange, and the preservation of historical landmarks.
According to a news statement from the President’s Secretariat Media Wing, the president thanked everyone for the kind welcome and highlighted the value of continued cooperation between the two nations.
Being at a city that was home to some of the most sacred locations in Islam was a huge honour, according to President Zardari.
The president was accompanied by Senator Sherry Rehman, Senator Saleem Mandviwala, Sardar Saleem Haider Khan, the governor of Punjab, Senior Minister Sindh Sharjeel Memon, Sindh Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, and Pakistan’s ambassador to Iraq.
It further stated that President Zardari’s travel to Iraq is a component of his larger initiatives to improve regional people-to-people, cultural, and diplomatic relations.
