President Zardari returns the Danish Schools Authority Bill for reconsideration after approving important legislation.

While sending the Danish Schools Authority Bill 2025 to the prime minister for review, President Asif Ali Zardari has approved important legislation.
The Danish Schools Authority Bill was returned to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for consideration, according to a press release from the presidency. The president underlined that previous contact with the relevant provincial governments is necessary before establishing Danish schools in the provinces.
Zardari pointed out that as education is a decentralized topic, any effort that has an impact on the provinces must be coordinated with them to guarantee agreement and seamless execution.
The president emphasized that provinces must participate in the formulation of public policy on issues that are under their purview. The government will now reevaluate the measure in light of the president’s findings.
At the same time, President Zardari approved a number of important legislative reforms on the prime minister’s recommendation. Among these is the Qanun-e-Shahadat (Amendment) Bill, which proposes changes to the nation’s evidence legislation.
The King Hamad University of Nursing and Allied Medical Sciences Bill was also approved by the president, opening the door for the institution’s official founding and operation. Furthermore, he gave his approval to the National Commission for Minorities Rights Bill, which aims to improve the nation’s minority rights protection and advancement.
